Sant Antoni i Sant Honorat in Benigembla

The village of Benigembla will celebrate the Festivity of Sant Antoni on Saturday the 17th, a key celebration in rural societies, closely linked to the daily life of people who depended on animals and horses for agricultural work.

The events will begin at 12:00 pm with the mass, followed in the afternoon, at 6:00 pm, by a procession through the streets of the village. On the same Saturday, a popular communal meal will be prepared at the Sindicato, open to everyone who wishes to stay and eat there or order takeaway to enjoy at home. After the meal, the celebration will continue with music, DJ and party, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.

The following day, Sunday the 18th, the Festivity of Sant Honorat will take place, with mass at 12:00 pm and the traditional blessing of the animals, one of the most beloved moments of these festivities, recalling the important role animals have played in rural life.

A weekend to keep traditions alive and enjoy the village and its festivities.
