SATURDAY 8

ORNITHOLOGICAL ROUTE AND RINGING WORKSHOP
Discover birds with Mateo, a local ornithologist.
Circular route (5 km), low difficulty, +60 m elevation gain.
Non-accessible. Duration: 2 hours. Limited places. Registration required.

CERAMICS WORKSHOP (SGRAFFITO)

MUSICALIZED ROUTE “MOSQUERA: HISTORY AND MEMORY”
Discover Mosquera’s Moorish heritage with live music.
Circular route (4.5 km), low difficulty, +40 m elevation gain.

CAROB SWEETS CONTEST
Participate with your best recipe.
Registrations until February 3. The town hall provides carob flour. Registration required.

SATURDAY 15

8:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Town Square
HIKING ROUTE “COLL DE RATES”
We walk down the Ravalet, a street from which we can see the Coll de Rates and the Carrascal. Then we cross the Gorgos River to reach the San Juan de Mosquera Chapel, a building in an ancient Moorish settlement that in 1577 had 30 houses and various hydraulic and agricultural buildings. From there, we walk up to the foot of Peña Talaia. We’ll have lunch and enjoy the views of La Marina from the Coll de Rates viewpoint, and then come down along the bridle path to the forest track that takes us back to the Mosquera district.
Circular route (12 km), moderate difficulty, +450 m elevation gain.
Inaccessible route. Duration: 5 hours. Limited places. Registration required.

ROCKLALÍ
We will start the Rocklalí with a performance by singer-songwriter Pau Alabajos, we will have lunch, and continue with Blat, with national rock and pop music, and then Macondo with “roll” music.

ETHNOBOTANICAL WALK AND WILD COOKING WORKSHOP WITH CAROB AS THE PROTAGONIST
We recover traditional and forgotten uses of good herbs while learning to identify and differentiate them. Then we will share recipe ideas and the process to obtain carob flour and syrup.
Includes tasting. Limited places.

RAPID PAINTING CONTEST
Open-theme contest in Alcalalí’s urban area.
Prizes: €400, €200, €100, and a trip to the Balearic Islands sponsored by Fundación Baleària.
Registration until February 21 and from 8:30 to 9:30 AM on-site.
